To discuss & implement a plan for the 2026 calendar year.
2026 is fast approaching, we need to prepare the club for the season & ensure a smooth transition between committees, including continuing our strong relationships with host venues, sponsors & insurers.
Our current committee has indicated that they are ready to take a step back to focus on general life events rather than drifting.
In order to ensure the club continues to provide the drifting community with a members based organization capable of providing high quality events for our members, by our members.
D1WA is Perth’s only not for profit drift organization. It is an incredible part of our community and has a perfect foundation for providing cheap seat time and high level competition events!
Founded in 2013, D1WA has provided over 100 events ranging from beginner days to the state championship
including hosting international guests and offering Australia’s cheapest track time! 

WORST CASE SCENARIO:
In the event that a committee cannot be formed by the end of November 2025, the current committee will stay on to provide ONLY the following events;
-Sunday 15/march INFIELD Collaboration
-May MATSURI @ Collie Motorplex
-Collie Stadium Weekend/s
-October Matsuri @ Collie Motorplex 

THIS MEANS, IF WE CANNOT 100% LOCK IN A FULL COMMITTEE FOR 2026 – ALL OTHER 2026 D1WA EVENTS WILL NOT GO AHEAD.
And all current venue bookings will be CANCELLED
